Purpose of Practicum

 

  The purpose of this practicum is to open new opportunities to us, pre-service teachers in South East Asia, to explore new things, understand other cultures, make new friends, and most especially, this practicum can help us enhance our teaching abilities in solving difficult situations and dealing with diverse group of students. Aside from that, this practicum will also help us to practice our English skills. This practicum also allows us to practice what we have learned in the Philippines, and at the same time it also allows us to gain additional knowledge when it comes to teaching which we can also apply when we get back in our own country. With this practicum, pre-service teachers can learn to become more innovative and confident.
